When DU Librarians are not available, librarians from other schools will answer Library Chat questions.
Your questions can now be answered during the day by DU Librarians and at night the 24/7 Librarians take over.
If your questions can't be answered by the 24/7 Librarians, they will turn the chat into an email and we will follow up the next day.
In an effort to help reduce student spending on textbooks, the library has launched an initiative to cross-reference the faculty course-adopted textbook lists with multi-user e-books that we either already have in our collections, or that we can purchase. When we find a match, we will notify the faculty via email so that they can have the option to share the link to the e-book with their students through Blackboard.
As of Summer 2020, the library conducted a search of current textbooks and complied a list of e-books that are currently available and notified faculty whose courses matched up. Some of the departments currently using library e-books as textbooks include Business, Sport Management, Management, Health, and Nursing.
For more information check out the Course Adopted Texts (CATS) E-book initiative @ the Library guide.
