Spirit Rock

Bundled between the DeVos Academic Building, South Hall, and the Maine College of Business on the W.A. Lettinga campus,  the Spirit Rock Quad serves as DU's unofficial hub for activities, connections, and school spirit.

Our Spirit Rock offers a chance for students to advertise upcoming events, support their teammates, or simply express themselves in fun and creative ways.

The quad is also a common destination for our 30Thursday events thru Student Life, allowing students to take a break from their studies and have a good time.

Study Abroad

Studying abroad gives the opportunity to students to pursue their college education in a foreign country. Davenport’s international studies will help widen your educational world and discover the personal and career benefits that are offered through the university. We have options for students to do a short-term, 3-week study program or for an entire year-long program.

If you have any questions about the benefits of studying abroad or how to apply for our study abroad scholarships, contact our experts at info@davenport.edu or 616.871.3968.

Volunteer Opportunities

To help with student engagement, Davenport offers multiple volunteer opportunities that can impact individuals within the community, campus, and outside organizations.

  • DU Days of Service, which are a number of short-term volunteer day opportunities for students who want to make a difference in just one day!

  • Alternative Spring Break to give a chance to change people’s lives and your own through community services and education!

What makes these volunteer opportunities through Davenport is the partnerships that have been created throughout the years of giving back.
