If there is no place to submit the assignment after the due date, your instructor has set it that way. Contact them to see if they will allow you to submit it late with a penalty.

SafeAssign

Your instructors may use SafeAssign to check your papers for an originality score (what percent of your paper can be found elsewhere and is not your original writing).

You can tell if your assignment has SafeAssign activated if you see a SafeAssign statement and a list of supported file types on the submission page. See also Blackboard's Assignments and SafeAssign Tutorial.

You can opt out of submitting material to the SafeAssign Global Repository, but not the Davenport Repository.

Some instructors allow you to see the Originality Report, others do not. You can talk to your instructor and see if they will change the setting that allows students in their class to see it. See also Blackboard's SafeAssign Originality Report Tutorial.

The Answers Aren't Saving—Help!

If you get a message the question wasn't saved, you won't be able to get it going again without either:

  1. Clearing your cache (for most browsers, if you hold down the Ctrl, Shift & Delete Key together, you can get to the right choices to clear), closing the browser, and then restarting, or
  2. Trying a different browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)

If the test has submitted and you can't resume it, see Your Test Submitted Prematurely (above)
