Open Courses are all the content, activities and assessment tools for an entire course, provided online for free to potential instructors and students and licensed under the Creative Commons. Instructors and course developers can adapt and re-purpose part or all of an Open Course to create their own course.

These materials are organized as courses, and often include course planning materials and evaluation tools as well as thematic content.
