Covid-19 Library Reopening Plans

All Libraries

  • Masks must be worn covering nose and mouth at all times.

  • Seating is limited and spaced out to allow for social distancing.

  • Computers are arranged to allow for social distancing.

  • Cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer will be provided. We ask users to clean surfaces before and after use.

  • No longer checkout headphones and calculators.

  • Books will be quarantined for 3 days before we shelve them.

Gr. Rapids (Margaret D. Sneden Library) // W. A. Lettinga Main Campus

  • 1 person per meeting room.
  • Use science models in designated areas under Health Sciences department protocols.

Lansing Library

  • Use science models in designated areas under Health Sciences department protocols.

Midland (Rollin M. Gerstacker Library) // Great Lakes Bay Campus

  • Science models are unavailable for fall semester, as all Midland science labs are virtual.
  • Pay attention to social distancing floor stickers at the library desk and at the printer.

Warren Library

  • Small group study rooms are closed.
  • Science models will be moved to the appropriate faculty member’s offices and will be available for use based on students following Health Sciences department protocols.
