From the Kaltura My Media page:
+Create button and select Express Capture.
Record Media screen for you to set up your recording, with a toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Once you set everything up, click the red button to start the recording.
When you are done recording, click the red button again to stop the recording, and then click on the blue Stop Sharing button at the top of the screen to stop sharing your screen.

When you are done recording, click the red button again to stop the recording, and then click on the blue Stop Sharing button at the top of the screen to stop sharing your screen.

After you stop recording, it will ask if you want to:
Record Again: Re-do your recording. Download a Copy: will download the recording to your computer's download folder.
Download a Copy to have a backup copy outside of Blackboard/Kaltura.Use This: It will open a screen for you to name it (It has a default name you can change) and will save the recording to your My Media page within Kaltura. You can add a description, keep it private or make it public at this point. (You can also make it public later.) Your video is only available in Kaltura My Media and you can use Kaltura's editing features to clip things out.
