The Greater Lansing Area Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission is pleased to announce that their 34th annual Luncheon will convene on Monday, January 21, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI. 

This year's theme is: "Be the Change You Wish to See in the World."

Keynote speaker is Governor L. Douglas Wilder - the first African American to be elected governor of a state in U.S. history.

Other highlights of the January 21st program will include the honoring of middle school and high school students who participated and placed in the Commission's essay and scholarship program, and a number of special presentations by Grammy Award-winning gospel music recording artist, Donnie McClurkin.
